Deputy secretary of energy, Daniel Poneman, stopped by the Nanomaterials and Thin Films Lab during his visit to Duke engineering labs on Monday. Poneman spent the afternoon discussing the importance of research into alternative energies, which was also the topic of his invited talk later that day. The NTF lab shared our research in the fields of mass spectrometry, photoelectrochemical thin films, and supercapacitor nanomaterials.
