Isvar Cordova, NTFL graduate student, has officially completed his Ph.D. preliminary exam in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Isvar presented on several completed and in progress projects in the area of electrochemical energy conversion and storage via nanostructures with metal oxide coatings. Some of the specific subtopics included: solar fuels via photoelectrochemical water-splitting, atomic layer deposition (ALD), and supercapacitors. Congratulations, Isvar!
